In this course we will use Charles Hartshorne’s book Philosophers Speak of God to examine both the concept of God and the existence of God. We will consider classical theism, religious skepticism, and neoclassical (or process) theism.
June 25, 2026 – July 30, 2026
Over the course of seven sessions, students will be introduced to several world religions (or ways of thinking and living) through the lens of process-relational thought. Each week will be devoted to a different tradition with several visiting teachers bringing their own expertise to the discussion.
